I have disappeared for a while but am attempting to make a comeback into the blogosphere. My hiatus has been due to a lack of motivation and dried up well of ideas. Whilst the well may not be full yet I have decided that blogging is one thing that helps me sort my head and shit out and as that has been my “job” of late I figure that I should be jumping back on this show pony and giving it a go.
Today I headed out with Kristy and Jaci for some art exhibition viewing. Out of the two we had planned we were successfull with one as the other gallery was shut. What is with galleries and there odd oppening hours. C’mon Tuesday is an excellent viewing time but the gallery had wed – sun in mind for prime time viewing. The “7 Evils In One Group Show” exhib was well worth the get to though. Held at No Vacancy, the show is on until Thursday. If you get the chance I suggest you get on down there.
I’m getting excited for the Tim Burton exhib that starts on Thursday. Hopefully make it to that soon. Also off to see Jersey Boys on Saturday night, def a week of taking in the arts. Speaking of musicals though I woke up yesty after having a musical dream. i only wish I had of been able to remember the lyrics and had some music writing abilities to write the score. It was pretty fun. I was highly impressed with my sub concious being able to come up with some flashy show tunes in my sleep. I wish it was that active and able while I was concious.

I hope the Easter Bunny has been good to you peeps. Got up this morning and ran around the house with Mum and Dad searching for all the eggs that were left by the sneaky “wascally wabbit” insert Elmer Fudd accent. The bunny was that good and managed to track down some Sweet Williams vegan chocolate goodies for me. Pretty stoked about that. Considering last year I was given a sugar free/dairy free egg which my folks ended up melting down adding some sugar and re-setting for me. It was the thought and effort that mattered. It still didn’t taste that crash hot.

Pearl Jam was awesome! They rocked out some wicked tunes. Alive and Black were among definite favourites. Ben Harper and Eddie did a great cover of Under Preassure, Throw Your Arms Around Me was performed by Eddie Vedder and Liam Finn and was beautiful. Anything that comes out of Eddie’s mouth sounds good. His voice is amazing.
The train wasn’t as awful as I was expecting either. It was exciting to see all the new pieces that have gone up along the line. There are some talented graffers out that’s for sure.
Saturday headed off to the Spanish Festival. That was pretty exciting, had a bit of a dance lesson. I can’t body roll to save my life so it was entertaining to try. I try to remember “Tits, Tum, Twat” I just don’t seem to have that sexy skill. I look out of place like an elephant trying to do ballet.
I had a fantastic boogy at Sentino Funf on Saturday night. That DJ was my soulmate. He was busting out some wicked arse tunes. I didn’t really do much Sunday which was nice. It was a bit of a musical day, started with rocking out some guitar hero and turned into a Beatle’s jam session with real guitars.
