Weekend Recap

Posted: May 9th, 2010 by Captain Nat

Friday night headed out to the Justice & Kaos album launch. First gig I have been to since getting out of hospital and it didn’t dissapoint. Got my dance and drink on which both equal fun. Ended up heading to the strippers afterwards and staying there till about 5am. Finally making it back to Llewella’s house to crash out on the couch for a good 4 hours before having to make an early exit to avoid parking fines. I hate those things, really who does that job.

Had some birthday celebrations for Cint at Polly on Saturday night. Skipping out of there at midninght to avoid turning into a pumpkin. After much discussion it was agreed that midnight is an acceptable time to leave an event cos really how can a fairytale be wrong? A little bit of vogue action never goes astray either.
Nizmo & Cint

Today I have been a lazy arse. Slept in all day and the most activity I have had is some ‘Guitar Hero’ action. Don’tcha wish ya guitar was hot like mine?

Also gave Mother dearest a call for Mum day, as her and Dad are discovery Paris right now. I really hope they get to Jim Morrisons grave. Def one spot I would want to stop by.

Do Fairy Children Go To School?

Posted: May 3rd, 2010 by Captain Nat

I was just going through some of my old scrapbooks and folders from back in primary school and came across a copy of a poem that I recited in a poetry recital competition when I was in about grade 1 or 2 I think. Thought I would share it cos it’s totally cute!

Do Fairy Children Go To School?

Do fairy children go to school?
Do they obey the Golden Rule?
Do fairy children learn to fly?
Have they to try, and try, and try?
Must they learn to dance and sing?
Or do they just know everything?

Perhaps a fairy child could say,
“Please may I have for my birthday
One fairy wish, or two or three?”
Of course, her mother would agree.
Then on a mushroom she could sit
And wish it all – not learning it.
